Day 12: Planning the nano...

Now the fun begins… the planning of the orchidarium. Naturally the size is very limited so I will have to study up on mini orchids. Fun fun.

I was looking at warm growing mini-masdevallias: Masdevallia lata, m. naranjapatae, m. pelecaniceps, m. weberbaueri, m. collina, m. cuprea, . guerrieroi, m. gutierrezii, m. guttulata, m. kuhniorum, m. norae, m. revoluta, m. tubuliflora, m. vieirana…

Or maybe a few of these: Leptotes unicolor, Maxillaria juergensii, Maxillaria variabilis ‘red’, Ornithocephalus manabina, Trichoglottis pusilla, !Zygostates lunata…

I also got a recommendation to look into Pteroceras semiteretifolium and Nanodes porpax (thanks Jonas), very cool! Also Dresslerella pilosissima (thanks Tribo), what a cute and hairy little thing!! Definitely something to keep an eye out for.

Too much cool stuff!!! But I need to study up some more on them some more first…
